The Fugu PowerTrain is our aviation fuel synthesis pathway.

Fugu takes air and sunlight and turns them into usable A1 jet fuel. This is how we do it.

We start with the AirRefinery - taking sunlight and air, turning them into hydrogen and carbon.

Then we use electricity to smash CO2 apart.

This turns the carbon dioxide into carbon monoxide - which is a much easier ingredient to work with if you’re making synthetic fuel.

The Fischer-Tropsch process is then used to convert our cheap hydrogen and CO into Jet Fuel.

The FT fuel process has been refined over many decades and is a mature, fully certified fuel synthesis process for aviation.
